Cinemas around Willesden

Electric Cinema

191 Portobello Rd, Notting Hill, London W11 2ED, UK – 020 7908 9696

Really wonderful cinema. Their website is missing some info, it was pretty warm in there and they don't have popcorn... But the beds for the show were super comfy, you don't feel like you're straining your neck. The intro to remind you to shut your phone off was particularly well done. Definitely worth trying it out.

We had a work event at the Cinema which was a superb venue however I then decided to go back as a paying customer to the diner with a few colleague after the event. The service was simply outstanding and I am certain I shall be visting this venue again with my partner and friends. Congratulations to your team and in particular the Diner side for so many things but it's always so refreshing when you are looked after by people who take the hospitality trade as a vocation and career not just a job. Thoroughly recommend this venue for any occasion.

Lexi Cinema

194B Chamberlayne Rd, Kensal Green, London NW10 3JU, UK – 020 3011 5523

Lovely comfy local cinema. Holiday movies only a fiver. Brill.

Cosy cinema. Greet to go there and watch a gold movie. The seats are amazing.

Vue

Royale Leisure Park, Western Ave, Park Royal, London W3 0PA, UK – 0345 308 4620

Went to see the Incredibles 2 and it was a great film for the whole family. Very funny and enjoyable. The baby especially made the film unique and not just simply a remake. Kids and adults alike loved it.

This place is awesome! One of the best VUEs that I have ever been to. If you are able to go there at around ~3pm - 5:30pm you will be in heaven. There's literally just a handful of people watching the movie(s). It's truly a place where you can sit back and enjoy!

Theatres for Willesden

20th Century Theatre

291 Westbourne Grove, London W11 2QA, UK – 020 7229 4179

This is the 20th century theatre in Portobello area in London. This is the one of the best theatre in London. This is the historical place. Great artists performs great plays here. So advance reservation is must here. Classes are also available for younger generations. Seating arrangements is very good. Rest rooms are available here.

Went here for the pop up snow cinema - whilst it was a nice concept the volume of snow wasn't as much I would have imagined for the £20 ticket price and the seats were just normal seats. There were no blankets as promised. Cute entrance into the cinema room though - through the wardrobe into Narnia!

SPID Theatre

Kensal House Community Rooms, Kensal House Estate, Ladbroke Grove, London W10 5BQ, UK – 020 8969 4570

Campaigns for Social Housing and promoting solidarity in the Community

Amazing as always!

Kiln Theatre

269 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 7JR, UK – 020 7328 1000

The old Tricycle theatre has had a refurbishment and rebranding and is now known as Kiln. What they haven't done - and really this is daft beyond belief - is made it easy to find the place. As far as I could see, there was no sign on the main road at all. And, while its official address might be on the High Road, the actual building and entrance are not. I walked right past the side road twice. I do admire their efforts to bring reasonably priced, interesting plays and films to Kilburn, an area that has been described as 'up-and-coming' for at least three decades as far as I know... so I'm being generous with the four stars. But when I went to see a film recently, I had to queue for ages to buy a ticket as there was only one person at the box office and everything happened very s-l-o-w-l-y. Come on, chaps, get some signs out there.

nice old-school local cinema with independent as well as commercial options. comfortable seats, screen ok, but sound isn't the best.
