TSB Bank

58 High Street Harlesden, London NW10 4LP, UK – 020 8790 9974

NOTE: Review of Branch, not of Bank. I've lived in the area and been in and out of the bank many times. Although there are queues in the morning, it's to be expected. The staff is always as quick as they can, and they sometimes deal with people that barely speak any English. The ATMs outside and inside are very rarely out of service. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I have once been in need of a consultation and was offered a session within the next hour, on a Saturday. With regard to my account, I work with a wonderful lady who has always been more than happy to answer all my questions and guide me through whatever I wanted done. When I opened my account, I used my Driver's License and Passport. They accept the initial NINo confirmation letter as proof of address as well, in case any newcomers are reading this. Highly recommend.

This bank is located conveniently near my house, which is why I signed up with them. My main problem with the bank though is that the staff are miserable, and every time you ask them for help it's almost as though they sigh at the burden of your presence. With that said, they do seem fairly trustworthy, and the bank is somewhat reputable. Therefore, I don't feel unsafe depositing my money here. I just wish they would learn to love life again, because it's incredibly depressing inside this shop. I know that Harlesden isn't the brightest part of London - but it's not as bad as the staff make it feel.

Always helpful! Thank you!

Great local branch with helpful friendly staff.

Local Chambers of Commerce for NW10 3UG. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. Dental Surgeries

A G Dentistry

98 Chamberlayne Rd, Kensal Green, London NW10 3JN, UK – 020 8964 2072

Dr Asti is great!!!!! Always takes time to listen to any concerns . Very professional but at the same time makes patients very welcome and at ease. The whole dentistry staff is amazing well mannered and professional. Would recommend this clinic with no problems!!!!!

Since my first time at AG Dentistry with Dr Diogo I had the best service ever! I recommend to everyone who needs a dental treatment please contact them and book it, as they are the best!

Park Avenue Dental Care

44 Park Ave N, London NW10 1JY, UK – 020 8452 6889

Dr Shah is wonderful. Kind, considerate, professional - he's made going to the dentist a pleasure. I recommend him, and this delightful practice, to all my friends and family.

Park Avenue Dental Care has provided me with an excellent service. Though I am a very anxious dental patient, the skills and expertise of all members of staff at Park Avenue mean I am able to undergo dental check-ups and procedures with minimal anxiety. The administrative staff are efficient as well as kind. Tina, the dental nurse assisting my dentist, is also kind and calm. Dr Shah (dentist) takes time to explain preventative care techniques and dental procedures and carefully outlines options before fully including me in making decisions about my treatment. In essence, Park Avenue is a professional dental practice that goes to exceptional lengths to successfully treat anxious patients.

Oakwood Dental Practice

74 Old Oak Common Ln, East Acton, London W3 7DA, UK – 020 8749 3371

I can't rate Oakwood Dental highly enough! When I arrived, I was a terrified and nervous patient and hated the dentist. They really put me at ease and explained every single option and procedure in great detail. Every single treatment I've had has been painless. No pain during or after. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been attending this dental practice since the day it opened ! I highly recommend it . All staff are professional and very pleasant. General health and medication is discussed if relevant to your treatment. Children are forwarded to specialist services if needed. Letters and texts ensure appointments are not forgotten. A new dental hygienist has just been employed to cope with the high demand of appointments.

The Law Medical Group Practice

9-11 Wrottesley Rd, London NW10 5UY, UK – 020 3818 8441

Not sure where all these negative reviewers are going, but its certainly not the Law Medical Group Practice that has been looking after me (and latterly my family) for over 15 years now through minor and more serious situations. Great doctors, Nurse Mary gets a special mention for her brilliance, and yes the receptionists could be a bit more engaging and cheery sometimes - but put yourself in their shoes, faced with a constant stream of sick and often grumpy patients on a daily basis, in a budget-stretched stressful NHS? it must take a toll.Perhaps if more people were charming and smiley with them, they might feel better about it all? Keep up the good work Law - we think you're superstars.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

Hammersmith Hospital

Du Cane Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 0HS, UK – 020 3313 1000

My clinic has just been moved here from Charing Cross hospital. First impressions were that Hammersmith Hospital is a lot older building, and it wasn't very clear how to get to Outpatients from the reception entrance. After some accurate directions from a security man, I found where I needed to be. Check in is by touch screen and gives information on where to sit. The announcement system to call patients is very good. It combines a voice message, with a large screen display telling you which room to go to. Seating was comfortable and well laid out. Appointments were running around 30 minutes late, but at least there are white boards showing the expected delay and these are updated frequently. Much better than any other hospital I've been to. Waiting time for a blood test was very long. I took number 49 when 25 was shown on the screen. I waited around 40 minutes to be seen. It is sensible to use that time to book your next appointment. Queueing again was rather long. This time around 15 minutes. I got the impression that the staff were trying their best to provide a good service. They appeared to be working as quickly as possible, but the computer systems in operation seem to be slow and cumbersome to enter data into. One fact that wasn't dealt with, was that although there was a water dispenser available, the cups had run out. Next time I'll take a bottle to fill up. Parking is available at the front of the hospital, but I'm not sure what it's like as I used a scooter to travel there. There is dedicated solo motorcycle parking by the entrance, and also cycle racks. Both are convenient and free to use. The nearest tube station is East Acton and there are bus services running right outside the hospital. I know one route goes via Shepherd's Bush and Hammersmith.

My wife has a heart condition, so we've been visiting the Cardiology department for a while now. We have total trust in the doctors, very professional and knowledgeable. The hospital itself though is quite hard to navigate around.

Central Middlesex Hospital

Acton Ln, London NW10 7NS, UK – 020 8965 5733

I want to praise please today the excellent patient service from Ms Lizz C., medical health advisor from Patrick Clement Department, 2nd floor. She helped me to make the best option of the reason I went there, and not just this, even further advices as well. She understood very well why I was here and she made me smile today, and also I will come with much confidence for the next visit. Please I want to recommend this wonderful lady with a right attitude! Thanks

A good clean hospital that gave my mother an emergency breast surgery operation. I waited overnight to take her home after her recovery, & the staff couldn't have been better. Wonderful doctors, kind nurses (please give them a rise above inflation) even the porters & staff in the shop had a kind word & a smile. Thank you ,thank you , thank you xxx

Pangbourne House Nursery Montessori School

2 Pangbourne Ave, London W10 6BT, UK – 020 8964 9555

5 stars doesn't seem to do this school justice. This is the most heavenly Montessori nursery in which it would be impossible not to thrive and have the happiest start to your school life. My older son has been so blissfully happy here but also has grown so so much as a little person and has really come out of his shell. His confidence has sky rocketed in such a marvelous non pushy way. Sophia Russell-Cobb is a true wonder and someone your children need in their lives! I could go on but all I can say is 1000% send your children to Pangbourne House

It truly is the nursery that you dream of for your child! The teachers are all warm, fun and super professional. They care for the children as if they were their own. The school itself is in a lovely new building on 2 floors. It is very spacious, bright and cosy at the same time. They have their own little garden and then they also have direct access to a huge playground and park behind the school. We just wish that Pangbourne House would educate up to 18!

Saint Christopher's School

71 Wembley Park Dr, Wembley HA9 8HE, UK – 020 8902 5069

We enrolled our son last September (2015) in reception this is after a harrowing time settling him in Montessori where he could never settle . But since he has joined this school and class of mrs Foster she has woven magic and he now looks forward to go to school, he loves Mrs Foster and has developed into a confident , young bright lad who has come a long way. Mrs Foster has ensured personal attention for him to develop motor skills , interpersonal and others and has motivated him to do better each day. I can't praise mrs Foster enough for her patience , her involvement And her attention to the T. I will recommend this school highly cause the foundation depends on good teachers and this school has the best ones. Sherry (mother)
